The Heights Park neighborhood is located in the northwest area of Richardson, bordered on the north and south by Arapaho Road and Beltline Road and on the east and west by Custer Road and Thompson Road. This particular neighborhood is a quaint subsection of Richardson Heights. Homes in this neighborhood were built starting in the mid-1950s and range in price from the low $200s and up.
These homes emulate the classic mid-century look that has become so highly coveted in the current market. With the recent increase in home prices, these homes are even more desirable as they fall into the more affordable price range for first time home buyers or small families and offer generous sized lots. This area continues to grow and we have seen a resurgence in popularity for these homes reflected in the beautiful updates done by their sellers.
The park, “Heights Park,” is located at the center of the neighborhood outfitted with newly resurfaced tennis courts, soccer fields and a huge playground. Heights Recreation center has also just been renovated and offers tons of amenities just minutes away. Just like others in the district, this neighborhood offers access to some of RISD’s best schools.
Just like neighboring communities in Richardson, Heights Park has convenient access to major highways, situated along 75 with quick access to both I-635 and George Bush Tollway. Richardson Food Truck Park, a new addition to the city, is within close proximity to the neighborhood as well as Alamo Drafthouse, Tasty Tails, Haystack and TJ Maxx located just south in the Beltline/75 shopping center.
